The hotel was delightful with beautiful and fantastic location next to the nearby restaurants, ferries and sights and a beautiful garden. We met very amiable staff at this venue. The food was great overall. Our stay there was VERY GOOD.

Bright twin room, good beds. Marble bathroom and a bidet with good sewerage.

The food and hot drinks were fantastic, the room was magnificent and spotless with a soft bed, and the location is great being close to San Leonardo Church, restaurants, and cafés.

A very grand hotel crammed with period features and with excellent views over Lake Maggiore. Friendly helpful staff and free wi-fi very welcome. Excellent location in Verbania and great ambience both in the hotel and in the resort - a quieter pace, relaxed and elegant - ideal for couples.

Lake view was great but we expected a a balcony and instead got a balcony style window only I.E. patio doors with a ballustrade and no seating space. Internal bathroom - no windows - had inadequate ventilation - a common problem in hotels. Also breakfast is too expensive at 12 euros each for a buffet. we had coffee and pastries nearby for 5 euros!

The stunning views of the sun setting over the lake from our room were truly romantic. The comfortable bed mattress ensured a good night's sleep. The hotel's location right by the lakefront and close to the boat jetty for the islands was very convenient. We also enjoyed the variety of hot and cold options available at breakfast.

The walls were quite thin, making the neighboring room's noise audible. The air conditioning was noisy, so we had to turn it off, and unfortunately, we couldn't turn it back on.

The hotel was lovely, staff very helpful and pleasant. Beautiful views of Lake Maggiore and you are right by the lakeside once you have crossed the road.

The breakfast was too expensive for what it was.

The hotel is conveniently located close to the boat terminal, making it easy to explore the Boronese Islands. the room had a stunning view of the lake, and the bathroom was well appointed with marble and all necessary amenities. the staff were friendly and helpful, providing excellent service throughout our stay. the breakfast buffet offered a variety of options, including hot drinks, pastries, and cheeses. the hotel's terrace provided a perfect spot to enjoy the breathtaking lake views.

Finding dinner in the nearby town was a bit challenging during the low season.

Location was fine next to the lake

Hotel is tired, balcony was so small you had to sit side on or not at all, Hotel advertised a Restaurant which was closed only opened for coach of Germans, breakfast at 12 euros was very poor quality worth perhaps 6 euros local 3 star hotels had larger balconys and better breakfasts. Would rate this hotel at best 3 star only have stayed in much better 4 star hotel on lake with better variety of breakfasts and services.

Nice room view to Lake Mayor. The hotel does not provide for private parking but they borrow to guests a city hall authorization to park in public places for free. Excellent location a few steps away to the ferry boat station which enables to visit the lake islands and other lake attractions.

A bit pricy for what you get, Pallanza is a nice cosy hotel but definitly not a 4-star. So if you are waiting for that you will be disappointed. Rooms are small and bathrooms are even smaller, which does not make the stay very comfortable. The room was also noisy at night, you could hear everything going around in other rooms or down the hallway, and even the water hiting on the lake shore... In brief, I guess we could have done better with a 3-star and paying less...

Great location facing lake, convenient for ferries. Hotel is grand in style with faded elegance, rooms spacious but average furnishing, bathrooms adequate. Parking outside the hotel is difficult but they have a free, secure, underground car park right behind the hotel. Staff very helpful and friendly.

No lounge or bar area to relax, only the American Bar next door which is open to the general public and is more like a pub. Breakfast was OK but we didn't like the coffee.

The location was amazing, right on the lake with easy access to restaurants and a dock to take boats to nearby attractions. The room was clean and cozy, with a beautiful view. We also appreciated the free parking and friendly staff who provided great recommendations.

Some aspects of our stay were not great. the walls in our room were thin, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep due to noise from neighboring rooms.
